JATAYU

Hello, kids! Do you like puppet? Who is your favorite puppet character? This time, I am going to introduce you one of the puppet characters in Ramayana's tale. Can you guess who is he? He is Jatayu. Have you all known Jatayu? 

Jatayu was a giant bird in Ramayana's tale. His mother named Vinata and his father named Aruna. Jatayu was a bestfriend of Rama's father, Dasarata.

Jatayu was a smart and wise bird. He could speak just like a human. He has a sharp beak to peck his enemies and also strong wings to beat off the enemies who attacked him. 

Jatayu was a hero for Rama and Sinta. He fought against Rahwana who kidnapped Sinta, Rama's wife. But sadly, he lost because Rahwana was stronger than him. Finally, Jatayu passed away because he had his wings cut off by Rahwana's sword. Because of that, Rama truly respected Jatayu's kindness for saving his wife.

And just like that, how Jatayu lived and ended his life for always being loyal, brave, and true.
